KASBOEK is an artist collective consisting of three women with different backgrounds in art since 2008 who want to experiment without rules related to space and time. However, their work is known to be site specific. They consider space to be of value and this value is expressed in their work, which also considers the dynamics of value perception and how our relationship with it changes due to external stimuli. When talking about value, a dialogue is needed between economic, ecological, and emotional value – for KASBOEK, it is as much about inclusiveness and responsibility as a purely monetary objective. By broadening the notion of value, they encourage the viewer to push their understanding of and perspective on value to new realms.
KASBOEK wants to make the value of space visible and to question the obvious. Through our common discovery, we transform spaces into art objects and unique experiences. KASBOEK is based in The Netherlands.
