Studio KASBOEK explores liminal space, a transitional area where perception and reality are in constant flux. Here boundaries blur, where digital and physical merge effortlessly. Their interactive artworks, in which light, color and movement are central, invite the viewer to become part of a dynamic and kaleidoscopic dialogue between man, matter and environment. The works in the Mirror Alignment series are a journey through light, color and movement, inspired by the James Webb Space Telescope, designed to look deep into time and space and study the evolution of celestial bodies. Through a kaleidoscopic approach to art, science and the supernatural, we explore the fundamental building block, the carbon atom/KASBOEK diamond, of life and the complex nature of human existence. The work brings the viewer closer to the heavenly bodies - and, metaphorically, closer to the “higher” light.
SK-eye seems to pulsate, its iridescent colors and soft glow evoking a sense of depth and movement evoke, as if looking at another celestial body or an unknown dimension.
