Johan Nieuwenhuize has travelled to locations where the great historical events of our time have taken place, like 9/11 and the fall of the Berlin Wall. At the exact moment, day and minute of the event Johan aimed his camera to the sky. He explores here how news images have influenced our collective memory and he reminds us of the virtual cloud we live in. The abstract blue and grey pictures show us also a parallel near surreal cosmic world above us, detached and unaffected.
